The JOC bridges the gap between completing a ME IR and commencing type rating training. The course is designed to provide training for qualified CPL (A) / IR (A) licence holders to a standard where their knowledge and skill of commercial aircraft handling and operation will be that of airline entry level.
The JOC is conducted on a fixed base generic XJ (similar to a 737) FNPT II training device, over four days or 16 hours of simulator training time. This consists of 4 simulator sessions focusing on jet handling characteristics and techniques.
You are provided with excellent course materials and support documents to help you get the most from your training, which is delivered by our experienced instructors and airline pilots, who have a wealth of knowledge about the requirements of becoming a modern day pilot.
Students can also choose to do a JOC course in Simtech Aviation to refresh their skills and prepare for simulator assessments to increase their chances of airline employment.
Before commencing this course you will need to hold a CPL / ME IR (A) licence and have completed an MCC course. This ensures you have the required level of skill to commence the course.
