Simtech Aviation had a successful exhibition season, connecting with many future cadets at Pilot Careers Live (PCL) events in both Dublin and London. Our presence at these events highlights our commitment to leading the next generation of pilots to the flight deck.
Pilot Careers Live: Dublin
The Simtech stand at the Convention Centre Dublin on Saturday, 18th October, was a huge success. Visitors had the chance to speak directly with the team and key industry figures about the APS MCC pathway and airline opportunities.
Highlights from the Simtech Stand:
- Training: Maurice Shiels (Head of Sales & Commercial Operations) discussed Simtech’s highly rated training options, our 96 NPS score, and the quality of our instructors and courses.
- Airline: Captain Alistair McKenzie (Wizz Air UK, Lead Recruitment) was on hand to speak about career opportunities at Wizz Air UK, our recommended partnership pathway, and what airlines look for in competitive cadets.
- Student Journey: Jason Colton (Recent Simtech Graduate) shared his personal training journey, offering first-hand insights on progressing from flight school through to completing his APS MCC course with Simtech.
Pilot Careers Live: London
The excitement continued at PCL London on Saturday, 1st November, at the Sofitel Hotel London Heathrow T5.
Highlights from the Simtech Stand:
- Flight School Connections: The team was on site to connect students with our fantastic partners, including EFT and Ravenair, highlighting the seamless route from flight training to the UK CAA APS MCC at Simtech.
- Airline Pathway: Our Head of Sales & Commercial Operations, Maurice Sheils, was delighted to catch up with Captain Alistair from Wizz Air UK one of our brilliant partners. Once again reinforcing our airline recommended partnership pathway with Wizz Air Uk.
- Simtech Graduates: The team reconnected with past Simtech students, including Ben Dodds (now a Jet2 pilot), and received support from recent APS MCC graduates Marcus and Sophie, who shared their Simtech student experience on the day.
