BEING A PILOT
This once-in-a-lifetime experience for two, allows you and your copilot to be captain and first officer for an hour, and live your dreams of being a pilot. This could also help you confront your fear of flying.
Spend an hour with a fully qualified instructor in a state-of-the-art XJ simulator that we use to train commercial pilots. Find out exactly how it would feel to stare down the runway at Dublin airport, ready to take off.
No previous flying experience needed, as one of our expert instructors can teach you the basics on how to complete a perfect take-off and landing, all within the hour.
We adapt the voucher session to the youngest novice, to the most experienced aviation enthusiast.
Please note:
. Minimum age requirement is 10 years old+
. 10 to 18 year olds must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
. A maximum of 3 people per booking are permitted in the building.
. We regret the facility is not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the egress and access of the flight simulators and the metal stairs within the Simtech Flight Hangar.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You’ll be able to take off and land from an airport of your choice. Experience different weather conditions and be in total control of a 65 tonne aircraft.
The voucher price includes a pre-flight briefing from your instructor who will go through the saftey features and a brief before heading to the simulator.
The instructor will guide you through take-off and landings. You will take full control to navigate the skies with the co-pilot of your choice.
