Simtech Aviation is proud to announce the expansion of our European flight school partnerships following successful visits to Aeropyrenees, Ravenair, Euro Flight Training (EFT) & Aviation Southwest along with meetings with our current flight school partners across Europe in 2025. These key meetings solidify our commitment to creating quality pathways for future airline pilots through our industry-leading Advanced Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) training.

Aeropyrenees Aviation School – France
Our Head of Sales and Commercial Operations, Maurice Shiels, visited Aeropyrenees students at Paris – Toussus Le Noble to deliver a Simtech presentation. We’re excited to be launching 2026 courses, welcoming both modular and integrated students, and continuing to strengthen our new key flight school partnership through our APS MCC training. This marks an exciting step in our partnership and huge opportunities ahead.
Ravenair – Liverpool Aviation Services
A new training partnership was formally agreed with Ravenair, supporting their modular students as they progress to their UK CAA APS MCC training. The visit was a particularly special ‘full circle’ moment, as Maurice met with Ravenair’s Head of Training, Luke Collister, who himself completed his APS MCC course with Simtech in 2019.
Under this agreement:
- Formal Direction: Ravenair students will be formally directed to Simtech for their APS MCC training
- Exclusive Discounts: Students will benefit from exclusive discounts
- Referral Support: Ravenair will receive referral-based support as the partnership grows
- Airline Pathway: Students can be put forward for Wizz Air UK pre-assessment & interviews.
EFT (European Flight Training) – UK
We are delighted to announce a new training partnership with EFT, aligning to support their students in completing the UK CAA APS MCC phase of training. Maurice Shiels met with George Coe and Valentino Kadirzade to formalise the agreement.
EFT will now formally direct their students to Simtech Aviation as the trusted partner for this critical final stage – helping to prepare them for airline assessment with the same professionalism and high standards that EFT upholds throughout the earlier stages of training.
Under this agreement, EFT students will benefit from:
- Formal Direction: EFT students will be formally directed to Simtech for their APS MCC training.
- Exclusive Discounts: Students will benefit from exclusive discounts.
- Referral Support: EFT will receive referral-based support as the partnership grows.
- Airline Pathway: Opportunity to be put forward for Wizz Air UK’s pre-assessment and interview process under our current airline recommended partnership pathway.

Aviation Southwest – UK
We are proud to announce our training partnership with Aviation Southwest. During a recent visit, former Aviation Southwest student, and now Wizz Air UK First Officer, Joshua Funnell shared valuable first-hand insights on APS MCC training and Wizz Air assessment preparation, highlighting the importance of high-quality preparation at this stage of a pilot’s pathway.
Through this new agreement, Aviation Southwest will now direct their students to Simtech Aviation for their APS MCC training. This partnership ensures consistent training standards and provides students with clear progression toward airline assessment, including the opportunity to be put forward for Wizz Air UK’s pre-assessment and interview process under our airline-recommended pathway.
We’re proud to support these flight schools, and look forward to welcoming many of their students to Dublin.
