This training is carried out by a Simtech instructor on behalf of the operator according to their flight crew training manual and the relevant aircraft type
This training may be conducted in an aircraft or a suitable training device.
Alternatively in a classroom with the appropriate equipment.

Actual handling of fire extinguishers of the type used
Instruction on the location and use of all emergency and safety equipment carried on the relevant aircraft type
Instruction on the location and use of all types of exits
Security procedures
Aircraft emergencies with particular emphasis on the interaction between the flight and cabin crews and the importance of effective coordination and two-way communication. These include fire on the ground, fire in the air, decompression, emergency landings (time available and no-time available), ditchings, rejected take-offs and go-arounds. Dangerous good spillages and security procedures must also be addressed.
Where possible the training should be carried out in conjunction with technical/cabin crew with the emphasis on coordinated procedures and two-way communication
