APS MCC, MCC/JOC and External Course T&Cs

Introduction:

These terms and conditions govern your purchase of and participation in our APS MCC and MCC/JOC courses. By signing up for Simtech Aviation courses, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you should not book a course with us.

Course Entry Requirements: Students must hold the following to be eligible for a Simtech Aviation APS MCC or MCC/JOC course:

Payment Terms: To reserve a place on a course, a non-refundable deposit of €1,000 for APS MCC and €1,000 for MCC/JOC is required at the time of booking, with the balance required a minimum of 14 days in advance of the course start date. The non-refundable deposit will be deducted from the overall balance. Simtech will issue an invoice via email which can be paid via Bank Transfer or Credit Card.

The upfront payment (less the non-refundable deposit) made by you may be refunded at the sole discretion of Simtech, if, for reasons beyond your control, you cannot complete the course, once started.

Course Date Changes: When a course is booked, there is no penalty should a student wish to change course date as long as he/she advises Simtech at least two weeks (14 days) before the original start date. We understand there are delays when aircraft go tech, lack of available examiners and bad weather prevents flying. Any course change must be communicated directly via email with the Simtech Aviation Sales & Marketing department. Simtech reserve the right to move a course date and if it does not suit the cadet a full refund of the course will be provided.

Course Cancellation & Refund: You have the right to withdraw from the course up to 14 days in advance of the course start date. If you have paid the full amount, you will be reimbursed less the non-refundable deposit.

Course Preparation & Equipment: We strongly recommend that you prepare and review the course documentation (which you will receive via FlightLogger) in advance of attending Simtech, to be well versed in the course content. The course content is delivered electronically and students are required to have their own tablet device – IPAD or Android.

External/Third Party Providers: We may engage with certain third parties (e.g. Airline Selection Program (ASP)) to promote and sell services on their behalf. Where those services are provided by the third parties, their terms and conditions will apply. We are not responsible for any aspect of their services.

Dress Code: Students are required to wear a uniform (black trousers, white pilot shirt, dark shoes and a tie) during all training. You are expected to behave in a professional and polite manner at all times while at Simtech Aviation.

Data Protection: Simtech Aviation will use the personal information students provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy
